Archicad Collaborate brings together everything your team needs: Archicad for architectural design, MEP for engineering, BIMcloud SaaS for collaborative teamwork, and BIMx Pro for dynamic presentations and communication—all managed in the cloud for seamless global teamwork, with no dedicated IT infrastructure required.

Archicad Studio includes BIMcloud Basic, providing basic collaboration and communication among team members. It is installed on a dedicated in-house server and is managed by the user. Archicad Collaborate includes BIMcloud Software as a Service – an excellent solution for all firms that want to collaborate in the cloud without the expense of in-house hardware and IT. TECHNICAL SUPPORT, UPDATES, and licensing

Technical support for Archicad is available, along with access to select training courses on Graphisoft Learn and the Graphisoft Community.

Archicad includes regular innovation updates and bug fixes. These updates are not “forced”—the control (and responsibility) for updating remains with the user. Team managers often prefer to keep all Archicad licenses on the same build to ensure compatibility.

A named license is assigned to individuals and is recommended for everyday users. It allows users to access their license for up to 7 days without an internet connection.

A floating license is shared across multiple users in a group or company. Licenses are not assigned to specific users but are checked out when someone starts the software and automatically returned for others to use when they finish. Floating licenses do not support working offline without an internet connection.

With Archicad Collaborate, a license can be designated as portable. This allows a user to join and work on another firm’s project hosted on that firm’s BIMcloud SaaS.
