GENERAL

A comprehensive Building Information Modeling (BIM) solution, Archicad Studio is designed for solo architects and small firms. It unifies your design and documentation experience into a single, cohesive environment. It supports local Teamwork on an in-house server. The BIMx app is included to communicate your 3D designs with hyperlinked 2D drawings to customers and collaborators alike.

  • macOS or Windows native compatibility
  • Flexible Cloud subscription provides for named or floating licenses
  • Access to exclusive tools, training, and support—including BIMx Pro and the AI Visualizer—to elevate your practice.

  • Does not include BIMcloud SaaS for cloud-based collaboration.
  • Cloud-based tools other than AI Visualizer are not included.
  • MEP tools are not included.
  • Only includes the local-language version – US (not the International (INT) language version).

UPDATES AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Technical support for Archicad is available, along with access to select training courses on Graphisoft Learn and the Graphisoft Community.

Archicad includes regular innovation updates and bug fixes. These updates are not “forced”—the control (and responsibility) for updating remains with the user. Team managers often prefer to keep all Archicad licenses on the same build to ensure compatibility.

BIMCLOUD

Archicad Studio includes BIMcloud Basic and provides basic collaboration and communication among team members. It is installed on a dedicated in-house server and is managed by the user. Archicad Collaborate includes BIMcloud Software as a Service – an excellent solution for all firms that want to collaborate in the cloud without the expense of in-house hardware and IT. The service runs on high-speed servers and includes data backups. As an added bonus, mark-ups in BIMx sync with BIMcloud SaaS.

There are two options: purchase standalone BIMcloud SaaS subscriptions separately or upgrade your license to Archicad Collaborate.
